On our way to Spain during a holiday, we lost our hearts in the Gers. What started as a chance stopover grew into a whole new life. We bought this charming Gascon house in one of the most beautiful parts of the region, and after 3.5 years of intensive renovation, we now run our B&B. We wanted to create a place where people can retreat from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature – yet with all the comforts.
Five spacious luxury rooms, a heated swimming pool, numerous terraces, and the gentle rhythm of the countryside invite you to completely relax. Our lush orchard and vegetable garden provide fresh organic fruits and vegetables for our farm-to-table dishes, , straight from the land to your plate.

At Domaine La Grande Maurague, a lavish breakfast is included in the room rate. Enjoy fresh local products, seasonal fruit from our garden, homemade jams, cheeses, charcuterie, fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, coffee, tea, and apple juice.
Pets: One small dog is welcome by prior arrangement. A surcharge of €20 per day applies.
Parking: We offer a spacious free parking area with a charging station for electric vehicles. You can use the charging station with our charging cards. Costs for electric charging will be settled accordingly.

Check-in: 16:00 – 19:00
Check-out: until 11:00
Age restrictions: La Grande Maurague is an adults-only accommodation and is therefore not suitable for children under 15 years.
Payment & Cancellations:
When booking through our website, a 30% deposit of the total price is required.
In case of cancellation less than 14 days before arrival, the full amount of the stay is due.
Cancellations more than 14 days before arrival will be fully refunded.
We recommend taking out travel insurance with an organization of your choice.
Minimum stay is 2 nights. Our rooms and facilities are designed for 2 persons.

An oasis of beauty and calm
My husband and I spent four glorious nights at La Grande Maurague when we were in the area to attend a wedding. The building itself as well as the setting were superb as was the attentiveness of our host, Els. Her attention to detail was unrivaled: in addition to serving a breakfast of homemade delights she answered all of our questions concerning local points of interest and restaurants.

Highly recommended in the Gers.
A wonderful stay in a beautifully restored country house with state-of-the-art finishes and accommodations. The landlady completes the picture. Beautiful walks through the deserted landscape with centuries-old villages and farmhouses. Or you can relax with a book in front of the fireplace. Highly recommended.

We spend 4 days with Els in her beautiful restored country house in the hills of Condom. The house is amazing, what gorgeous renovation did they do. Els is very hospitable and knows how to serve her clients, that she treats as friends. Highly recommended, we will return.
